The last blend was an easy 100% opacity. This one slows me down, for carefully gauging the effects in the water. Finally settled on 40%, but might have spent 10 or 15 minutes to really "feel" it.

The vast majority of my time in any development is spent between a) "flickering" between possibilities to compare benefits to detriments, and b) evaluating the result to figure out what to do next.

In this case, "next" isn't hard. The construction on the right side now looks entirely too stringy.
